In early August we went to Paul and Ann's 50th anniversary celebration at a park in Provo Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with family and celebrating, but we only got two pictures in the process.

During these two months I completed the pillows I made for Christmas for my grandchildren. Above are Abby's fox, Caitlin's butterfly, Ben's fox, Brennan's tiger, Kaeleb's eagle, and Landon's dinosaur.
These include Brittney and Jeremy's cats, Tristen's deer, Lucas' shark, Brycen's tiger, Colby's giraffe, and Emily's butterfly.
On September 12 we took an anniversary trip to Pagosa Springs. This is the lake beyond our resort at twilight. You can just see the crescent moon on the left side. It was beautiful.
The interior was very nice. Here is Gary relaxing in the living room. We had a big jacuzzi tub in the bathroom besides the shower and a fully equipped kitchen.
We took a drive the next day over the mountain where the beautiful fall colors were coming out.
Our destination was the quaint town of Lake City which is down in a deep valley between the high mountains. It was delightful to visit there. We returned and spent another night before heading home.
We went to Provo on Friday, Sept 21 to see Gary's sister-in-law, Becky, her husband, Ken, and their five kids who were in town for the funeral of Ken's mother. The day we arrived Tanner and Sara brought home their new baby, Gracelyn, and we got to meet her at just two days old. She is a sweetie!
And here is her big brother, Hyrum, playing with the toys of Granpda Jim's and Grandma Rebecca's. The next day we attended the funeral and had a wonderful visit with the Talleys. We went to Heber after church and had lunch with the Kemps then headed home..
On Friday, September 28, we took Duane and Denise Black for a drive over the mountain. The colors were beautiful.
We took the road that leads out to Canyonlands so came out on the other side of Peter's Hill. As we drove toward Monticello, we stopped and took pictures of the cute old truck that is always filled with bright, beautiful flowers.
