A drive around the Manti-LaSal Loop

We took a delightful drive around the Manti-LaSal Loop out of Moab on the Saturday before Father's Day.  I was planning to include more adventures in this post with that one, but I didn't get well from my Bell's Palsy incident like I thought I would, and we haven't been able to go out and explore.  As a result, I decided to just do this post by itself and hope for the best in the future.

As we were driving along, we saw something in the road.  It was a large, brown bear!!
As we came near the end of the  loop, we found ourselves in this beautiful valley called Castle Valley.
Another rock formation in the valley
When we got back into Moab, we had a delightful lunch at  Fiesta Mexicana then headed home.  We decided to stop at Hole 'n the Rock where we got pictures of some the new additions since we were last there.  This knight was one of them.
They have now added this ore car hanging from a cable on the side of the rock.

And another fun fine was this wooden Indian.
And, later in the month, Gary got his newest acquisition, a John Deere mower!
