On April 28 Marcus and Michelle had their baby, Belle, blessed in their student ward in Provo. Belle is our fourth great grandchild.

We went to California for Gary's 60th class reunion on May 5. On the way we took the old Route 66. In Seligman they were getting ready for a class car rally, and we got pictures of many of the great old cars.
The reunion itself was a lot of fun. Gary saw so many old friends he hadn't seen in 60 years. It was fun for me to meet them, and I also enjoyed it thoroughly. On Sunday, between church and the reunion, we took a picnic lunch up to Najohi Falls
In mid May the wild flowers began to bloom. With the wet winter we had, there were beautiful flowers everywhere. We went for a drive out near the reservoir and took Baby D to get better pictures.

On Friday, May 17, we went for a walk with the Flavels and several others from our ward to see more wildflowers.
The flowers were beautiful., and the canal that ran along the top of a cliff was fascinating. It rarely has water in it, but this year it was running to provide water to Starvation reservoir on the mountain road.
Gary brought Baby D again, and the others really enjoyed watching him launch her.
Here are all who came: Susan Flavel, Traci Seiter, Denise Black, Laurie Simpson, Mallory Lyman with her two children, Dorine, and Gary. Brent Flavel was taking the photo.
The next week we took a drive up to Johnson Creek and Dry Wash to see all the water.
At Johnson Creek the water was running down this forest service road.
Next to the stream was this beautiful green field full of yellow flowers

On Memorial Day Weekend we had a visit from Jim's family. Keith and Kayla arrived from Arizona on Thursday night, so we had all day Friday with just them. We went to the Dinosaur Museum and then watched movies with them and enjoyed their company thoroughly.
On Friday night Jim, Rebecca, Jared, Tanner, Sara, Hyrum and Gracelynn arrived.
On Saturday morning Great Grandpa took Hyrum for a ride on the lawnmower. That evening we all went to Tammy's where Sara's kids got to play with Jack.
We then went for a hike to the lake and canyon near JJ and Tammy's house.
We had a barbecue at their house and en;joyed getting both families together. We enjoyed having them through Monday noon before everyone took off for home. It was a great weekend!
