Christmas through March

I have not blogged since Thanksgiving.  Hope I can remember all that we have done in the meantime.  Shortly before Christmas we went to the Squires cabin to let Jayden and Emma get pictures of Jack with Santa.  We were afraid he would be afraid of us, but we were wrong.  Look at that smile!
For Christmas we went to Provo where we stayed with Jim's family.  On Christmas Eve we participated in their family's musical program which we loved!  We also got pictures with other great grandchildren, Hyrum and Gracelyn.
Hyrum was a little afraid of Santa.
Instead of holding him on Santa's lap, we had to get pictures by sitting near him with Tanner, Sara, and Gracelyn around us.
Jim and Rebecca gave all their kids pajamas.  The ones they chose for Sara and Tanner gave Mr. and Mrs. Santa some darling elves!
On Christmas morning we went to Brian's and watched their kids open presents.  We then had Christmas dinner with Jim and Rebecca.  The day after Christmas we went to Logan to see my mom and stayed with Marie and Virgil.  The day after returning to Provo, we went to Heber and spent a day with Kwint, Gina, and boys.  We went out to dinner and to the movie, "Mary Poppins Returns."
On Saturday we went to Salt Lake with Jim, Rebecca, and Jared where we met up with Jeff, Alisa, Zach, and Anika.  We had dinner at JBs then went to Temple Square to enjoy the beautiful lights.

On New Year's Eve we had a family party at Jim's that Julie, Chad, and their kids attended so we got to see them too. We had hoped Michelle and Marcus could come to that, but was not feeling well. We certainly enjoyed seeing so much of our family over the holidays.  It was a very special time.
While the temple was closed for cleaning in January, we went to Cedar City and spent a couple of days with Davey and Candace.  We also had an outing to St. George with Dale and Dorothy Ann.  It was a great trip.  Later in the month we had a visit from granddaughter Marie.  She had come to Blanding with her roommate, Ava Perkins.  While she was here we went to see Jayden and Emma's new house in Monticello.  In early February we went back to their house for Jack's first birthday party.
 He loved the balloons!
 He opened lots of presents.
Then he made a big mess with his birthday cake.

We have had a really good winter with lots of snow.  Here is our house nearly buried in snow.  What a blessing!  Besides all the snow, we have had a lot of rain and expect to see our reservoir very full when we get to the spring runoff!

On the last day of February we drove up to Provo where we bought a new car, a Hyundai Sante Fe. We love it! The night we got up there Brittney and Jeremy met us a Ruby River for dinner.  It was a thrill to see them!  After dinner we went to Marcus and Michelle's to see their beautiful 3-week-old baby, Belle.  We now have four great grandchildren!  Blessings on blessings!
