Gary Turns 80!

 

Gary turned 80 on January 23, 2021.  His children gave him a wonderful birthday!  We went to Tammy's office where we had a Zoom meeting with all his children and most of his grandchildren.  He loved it!  Tammy and JJ then took us out to dinner along with Jeff and Alisa, Jayden and Emma, and Spencer and Clair.  It was delicious!

 In early December we took a trip to Arizona to spend some time with Chuck and Diane and Keith's family.  It was wonderful to be in the warm sunshine for a short while.  It was even more wonderful to spend time with family and to see James, our great grandson, for the first time.

On December 22 we enjoyed an evening with Tammy's family.  We had a Christmas Eve dinner as Spencer and Claire were going to Arkansas for Christmas.  Jack and Aevyn were especially cute that night.

The next night we dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Santa and went to the Juniper Village Apartments where we took bags of goodies to Shirley Gaines, Sue Mattern, and Jo Martinez.  It was so fun to see their reactions.

                                             

                                    

After Christmas, Spencer and Claire came back from Arkansas and, with Jayden's help, did a scavenger hunt that ended in Spencer proposing.  Here is a photo they had taken in Arkansas.

                                              We really like Claire and are very excited for them!
