April 2019

We took advantage of the beautiful spring weather and went out on Babe.  Our first trip was to John's Canyon.  There was a herd of cattle that were still in their winter grazing.  There were a lot of new calves.

We got a few pictures of interesting rocks that we drove past such as this round one.
The trail went right between these two giant rocks.

This rock formation atop a larger rock looked like a lizard to us.  We called it the stone lizard.
There are a lot of views from the trail of the deep canyons we ride on the edge of.

And the towering cliffs along the trail go as high as the canyons go deep.
The petroglyphs on this rock right on the side of the trail are hard to see but amazing.

And here he is getting back into Babe after opening the gate.

Our next ATV ride was today, April 22.  We went out not far from town on one of our favorite trails with Tammy, JJ, and JJ's mom, Lynette.  They just bought a new side-by-side.  Here they are looking over the edge of the canyon.
