Big Events

We had two very eventful weeks.  The first started when we drove to Provo on Wednesday, May 2.  Brian and Sara were on a cruise, and we got to stay with their children until Saturday.  We had a great time (even though we were exhausted).  One of the events that happened while we were there was Bailey's second grade program.  It was darling!  Here she is dressed up and ready to go.

On Friday afternoon we went to the Payson Temple to attend Kari's endowment.  She is going to be working with Marie in Wyoming for the summer then plans to go on a mission.

After the endowment session everyone went to Jim and Rebecca's for a family party.  John and Ann were in town for Michelle's graduation from BYU, so we had a good attendance and a very nice time.  Marie also graduated from Snow the next day.

On Saturday morning we left for Cedar City where we attended an 80th birthday party for Dale and Dorothy Ann Gurley.  We had our picture taken at the party.  Would like to have had it with Dale and Dorothy Ann, but they were swamped with guests, so this will have to do!  We stayed and went to church with Dave and Candace then drove back to Blanding on Monday.

After planning and setting up for a funeral dinner for Nancy Martineau on Friday, we headed back up to Provo so we could attend Bailey's baptism on Saturday morning.  Here she is with Dad and Grandpa.

At the luncheon after the Baptism the girls got some lovin' along with our cute great grandson, Hyrum.

On Sunday morning we went to Altamont where we spent a few hours with my mother on her 93rd birthday.  We then headed back to Provo for Jared's Eagle Scout Court of Honor

Jim and Rebecca were given their pins as parents and Jared gave a pin to his mentor as well.

We took a trip on Babe on Thursday the 10th out to John's Canyon.  The only thing we found that we didn't already have pictures of was this pretty cactus in bloom.  We always have a good time on that ride!
